Comedian Russell Peters will be cracking jokes in Kelowna as part of his Act Your Age World Tour.
Peters became one of Canada’s best-known comedians – having won a Gemini, Peabody, Emmy and Canadian Screen Award – despite having a clean style of humour. In 2007, he was the first comedian to sell-out the Air Canada Centre in Toronto.
He also sells out shows in cities across the globe – including venues like Madison Square Garden in New York City and the Sydney Opera House in Australia – and was the first comedian to ever have his own special on Netflix.
Peters' comedy career began in Toronto at the age of 19, and he was recently named one of the 50 Best Comics of All Time by Rolling Stone.
He’ll be stopping in Kelowna on June 25 to perform at Prospera Place. Tickets go on sale March 11 at 10 a.m. through his website.
