Trunk-or-Treat is a different way for families – especially those living in rural parts of Kamloops or the Okanagan – to celebrate Halloween.
A block of cars with decorated tailgates, along with a family member to hand out candy, gives youngsters a different way of walking place-to-place to collect candy.
This year Trunk-or-Treat will be taking place for the second year at Anarchist Mountain east of Osoyoos. There’s a prize for the best decorated car, concessions and a bonfire. Anybody who doesn’t want to decorate their car is asked to donate a bag of candy to one of the families that are participating.
It’s happening at 1 Arose Ranch Road on Saturday, Oct. 29 between 5 and 8 p.m. Families are asked to RSVP by Oct. 27 by emailing trunkortreat2022@outlook.com.
