KAMLOOPS - A driver was trapped and the off-ramp at Lafarge Road closed following a semi rollover east of Kamloops around 8:20 a.m. today, June 24.
The driver was taking the Lafarge Road exit off of Highway 1 when he lost control and rolled the vehicle.
The 54-year-old male driver was trapped and Bush says the driver was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Cpl. Cheryl Bush says highway traffic was not affected but the eastbound off-ramp was closed for part of the morning. Police have since cleared the scene but closures to the off-ramp may occur as debris is cleared from the crash site.
Speed was deemed a factor in the crash and Bush says the driver was issued a ticket.
