KELOWNA – A number of people were taken to hospital, including several children, following a two car crash on Harvey Avenue at Hardy Street Saturday afternoon.

One of the vehicles, an SUV, hit a lamp post before it rolled and ended up on it's roof on the median near Toys R Us at about 2 p.m.

RCMP tell Global Okanagan the driver of the SUV made left hand turn from Highway 97 onto Hardy into the path of an oncoming pick-up.

Hank Roffel's dash camera was rolling and caught the crash on video.

The driver of the SUV is facing a charge of driving without due care and attention or a ticket for failing to yield.
