Rocky Mountaineer trains will once again be passing through Kamloops.

The luxury train company has launched its signature journeys to the U.S. and Canada for a full operational season, according to the mountaineer’s press release issued today, April 14. This year will mark the first full operational season for the company’s newest routes from the Rockies to the Red Rocks between Denver, Colorado and Moab, Utah.

Journeys kick off in Vancouver, then Kamloops and Banff, April 25, and from Vancouver to Kamloops and Jasper, April 26.

Rocky Mountaineer offers luxury train journeys that showcase some of the most spectacular North American scenery by rail car.

Rocky Mountaineer offers four rail routes: three that connect Vancouver to the Canadian Rockies towns of Banff, Lake Louise and Jasper in Western Canada; and a fourth route that travels between Denver, Colorado and Moab, Utah in the Southwest United States.

Since it was founded in 1990, Rocky Mountaineer has welcomed more than two million guests and become the largest privately-owned premium tourist train in the world, according to the press release.

More information on the Rocky Mountaineer can be found on the company's website here.
