The highly anticipated annual Rock The Lake festival has announced a second wave of artists for this summer.
Canadian rockers Matthew Good and His Band, Dear Rouge and Crash Test Dummies have been added to the lineup, according to a press release from GSL Group today, April 11.
The festival dates are July 11 to 13 outside of Prospera Place in Kelowna.
Performances from Simple Plan, The Sheepdogs, Sam Roberts Band and Down With Webster were announced in March.
For the first time all of the artists at the festival are Canadian and include two local bands, Lucky Monkey and CrushXO.
“The response to our first artist announcement has been fantastic, and we’re excited to maintain this momentum with the second wave,” GSL Group’s senior director of event operations Marlon Weidlich said in the release.
“Incorporating the unique sounds of a Canadian heavy hitter like Matthew Good, along with the talents of Dear Rouge and Crash Test Dummies, gives us confidence that we’re delivering a more diverse and inclusive, yet still authentically Canadian, rock festival experience for our fans.”
The first release of VIP passes dropped earlier this month for $495, and there are still general admission three-day passes available for $169.
