Rock band TOOL is coming to Kelowna's Prospera Place this fall as part of a North American tour.

The band behind such hits as Sober and Lateralus marks its first return to Canada since 2019, when it released its newest album Fear Inoculum. The band hit it big in the 1990s and marked its 30th anniversary of the Opiate album with the release of Opiate2, a re-imagining of the title track.

Reviews from TOOL’s sold-out 2022 tours praised the four-piece band, with Loudwire dubbing the performances as “a masterclass of immersion, sound and stage design, musicianship… and levels of ungodly tightness.”

Revolver, covering the Welcome to Rockville 2023, said “TOOL delivered a stunning… set featuring classic fan favorites, newer Fear Inoculum standouts and choice deeper cuts … the striking visuals also included a psychedelic laser and projections show bar none.”

Tickets for the Kelowna show are available Friday, June 9 at 10 a.m. The show is Oct. 22, 2023.
