The architect of shock rock is making his way to Penticton in the new year.

Alice Cooper along with special guest Buckcherry are performing at the South Okanagan Events Centre in Penticton, April 15, 2022, at 7:30 p.m.

After wrapping a successful Fall 2021 tour, Cooper announced a run of January and February tour dates ahead of a headline appearance at the Monsters of Rock Cruise, which takes place Feb. 9 to 14, according to a press release from the event’s centre.

Cooper has confirmed a slate of new Spring 2022 dates, including a run of Canadian shows. Cooper, a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, usually spends up to six months a year on the road, bringing his iconic brand of rock psycho-drama to fans both old and new, enjoying it as much as the audience does, according to the event’s centre.

Cooper has rattled the cages and undermined the authority of generations of guardians of the status quo, continuing to surprise fans and exude danger at every turn.

Cooper's universally acclaimed new album Detroit Stories is out now via earMUSIC. The record is a celebration of the sound and spirit of the Golden Era of Detroit rock and debuted on the Billboard Album sales chart at #1 upon release in February 2021.

Tickets for the Penticton show go on sale Dec. 10 at 10 a.m. and are $45 plus tax and fees. They can be purchased online through Valley First Tickets or in person at the South Okanagan Event Centre box office.
