VERNON - Closure of a section of 32 Avenue is ongoing until Nov. 12 between 27 and 29 Street while the city works on utility and railway upgrades.

No through traffic is allowed during the duration of this project.

Detours are in effect and the City of Vernon asks motorists to plan their route around this project and leave extra driving time when travelling.

Work may begin at 6 a.m. several days to accomidate rail traffic. Access to local businesses will still be possible during the closure. Pedestrian traffic will also be limited and there'll be full closure to pedestrian traffic from Nov. 3-5 during railway track upgrades.
