Handbells were originally designed as practice instruments for bell tower ringers and handbell choirs have become a worldwide tradition. From the sparkle of the smallest bell to the booming resonance of the largest bell, the acoustic brilliance of the full bell choir is thrilling to hear live. This performance combines the magical sound of the bells with all the colours of the orchestra to perform wonderful arrangements of well loved carols that will put everyone in a festive mood.
“We are all very excited to present Anthony Lau on classical harmonica and to welcome back the Okanagan Handbell Chorus” says OSO Music Director Rosemary Thomson. “The last time they were with us the combined sound of the bells and orchestra was glorious and I can’t wait to share the stage with the ringers again.”
See it, Hear it, Love it!
