Summerland RCMP are investigating a daytime break and enter involving the theft of several long guns.
Police spokesperson Cpl. Ted Manchulenko says a thief or thieves broke into a Nixon Road residence during daytime hours on Nov. 30, stealing a 2004 Toyota Corolla, in addition to multiple long guns and several cross bows.
Police in Penticton are also investigating a half dozen reports of theft from vehicles. The incidents occurred in the vicinity of South Main and Yorkton Avenue between Nov. 29 and 30.
Some of the vehicle doors were locked, and some weren’t.
Police have no video surveillance or suspects in the incidents.
