The Revelstoke RCMP has confirmed it found one dead at the helicopter crash site in Glacier National Park.
Around 7 p.m. on Jan. 5 RCMP were informed about a helicopter travelling from Calgary that potentially crashed in the area, according to a press release from RCMP.
Search efforts for the helicopter ended this afternoon when the crash site was located in Glacier National Park.
RCMP have confirmed the helicopter pilot died in the crash.
Police are working with Transportation Safety Board and the BC Coroners Service to find out the cause of the crash.
