Rehill and Harlacher on central scouting watch list

KAMLOOPS - NHL Central Scouting has released its preliminary 2014 November players to watch list. Two Kamloops Blazers defensemen are on the list as Ryan Rehill and Edson Harlacher are both rated as ‘C’ prospects indicating a potential 4th/5th/6th round candidate for the upcoming 2014 NHL Draft.

Rehill is into his second season with the Blazers and is a steady presence on the Blazers backend. The 6’2” and 210lb defender has three assists playing in all 22 games this season. The 18-year-old Edmonton native is among the league leaders in penalty minutes with 58 this season.

Harlacher was selected by the Blazers in the 2013 CHL Import Draft. The 6’2” and 187lb native of Switzerland has been a welcoming presence on defence this season. He has stepped in as a regular playing in all situations. The 17-year-old has one assist in 21 games this season with the Blazers.
