PENTICTON - The Regional district has a new emergency operations manager.
Protective Services Committee Chair Andrew Jakubeit told Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen directors the district has hired Brandy Maslowski to take on the role recently vacated by Dale Kronebusch.
Maslowski recently resigned from her position as executive director with the Penticton and Wine Country Chamber of Commerce.
Jakubeit told the board Maslowski brings previous firefighting experience with her to the regional district.
She is expected to begin her duties in a month.
