Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen's main office will be open between Christmas and New Year's.

PENTICTON - The Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen and the City of Penticton will be open during the holiday season, taking three days off through Christmas.
The main office at 101 Martin St. will close Friday, Dec. 25, Monday, Dec. 28 and Friday, Jan. 1, but will be open regular hours the remaining days, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Hours for city hall in Penticton are similar, closing Friday, Dec. 25, Monday, Dec. 28 and Friday, Jan 1, 2016.
Regional district landfill hours have also been modified for the holidays, with closures at Campbell Mountain, Oliver and Okanagan Falls sites Friday, Dec. 25, Saturday, Dec. 26 and Friday, Jan. 1.
Landfills will have reduced hours from December until the end of February, with Campbell Mountain closed Sundays through winter and Oliver landfill opening at noon weekdays.
Similkameen residents will see garbage collection shift from Friday to Saturday during the two weeks over Christmas and New Year’s. The Keremeos waste transfer station will be open from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. every Sunday.
