Kelowna RCMP officers will honk their horns outside of KGH to show their support for healthcare workers.
The procession will begin at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 28, and Sunday, March 29.
RCMP officers will activate their vehicle emergency lights and sirens, according to an RCMP news release.
“This event has been inspired by the utmost respect, admiration, and appreciation the Kelowna RCMP have for our healthcare professionals who have been tasked with a difficult job during the challenges of the pandemic of COVID-19,” Kelowna RCMP Cpl. Michael Kube said in the release.
“We wanted to show our support for everything they are doing for our community.”
Vancouver first responders staged a similar lights and sirens parade last night.
