RCMP seeking help in tracking down parolee at large

A Kamloops parolee is wanted by police after failing to report to his parole officer.

A Canada Wide Warrant was issued today for 45-year-old Hasson Berrington Wilson who was living in a private Kamloops residence at the time of his parole suspension.

RCMP Staff Sgt. Grant Learned is warning the public that Wilson is considered violent, an escape risk and may be armed and dangerous.

He has cautioned the public not to approach him or attempt to detain him, but encourages those with information regarding his whereabouts to contact RCMP immediately.

Wilson is described as a First Nations male standing 5'9" and weighing 186 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

"He has no distinct physical features," Learned said in a press release.
