Lillooet RCMP are asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing 75-year-old man who has dementia.
Joseph Zabotel was last seen around noon yesterday, Aug. 29, went he went missing from his residence in the 1700 block of Hwy 99 between Lillooet and Cache Creek, according to an RCMP media release.
RCMP say Zabotel was wearing a blue checkered shirt and a blue cap with the word Sylvania on it.
"We are concerned for Mr. Zabotel's safety," Ashcroft RCMP Const. Richard Wright said in the release. "He was on foot and was improperly clothed for the cool weather."
Anyone with information is asked to contact Lillooet RCMP at 250-256-4244.
