LAKE COUNTRY -  Police are investigating yet another case of theft involving local community mailboxes.

Last Sunday, Feb. 26, residents found their mailbox located on the Pretty Court and Jardine Road intersection had been pried open. According to a release from the Central Okanagan Crime Stoppers, only advertisement fliers were left in the mailbox.

This comes after several community mailbox theft and tampering incidents in Lake Country.

In the release, Canada Post advises everyone to collect mail regularly and to contact them immediately if your mailbox was broken into.
