One of two individuals arrested late last month by Kelowna RCMP’s Integrated Child Exploitation was a youth.
Kelowna RCMP announced the arrests, which were related to separate investigations, on March 6.
RCMP Cpl. James Jenkins provided an update via email today, March 8,.
“One individual arrested was a youth, and this serves as a reminder for parents to involve themselves in learning their teen's online activity,” Cpl. Jenkins said.
The two suspects’ electronic devices are undergoing forensic examination and a comprehensive report will be sent to Crown counsel, but they have not yet been charged, he said.
