RCMP release image of brazen Kelowna guitar thief suspect

Kelowna RCMP are looking for help to find a man who stole a guitar from a local music store worth more than $8,000.

Kelowna RCMP are looking for help to find a man who stole a guitar from a local music store worth more than $8,000.

A man left Wentworth Music on Harvey Avenue in Kelowna on July 20 with a with a stolen Taylor K24ce Builder’s Edition guitar valued at $8,400, according to a Crime Stoppers media release.

The man entered the store with a guitar in a case and while staff members were occupied, swapped the two guitars, placing his old one on display and left the store with the Taylor.

Minutes later, Wentworth employees noticed the swapped guitars and saw the man drive away in a white four-door Chevrolet sedan.
