RCMP raided a home in Kelowna early this morning and made several arrests after a call for help.
Members of the Emergency Response Team and Police Dog Service converged on a home in the 500-block of Lester Road then closed off the street around 5:43 a.m. today, Feb. 13, according to a press release from police.
Police received a call for help and believed there might have been multiple weapons in the home.
Officers contained and isolated the home and closed down Lester Road.
Police made several callouts to the individuals inside and eventually multiple people came out and were taken into custody.
Officers cleared the home and no injuries have been reported.
The road is going to be reopened soon, but the investigation is ongoing and RCMP said it is unable to release any more information at the moment.
Police said there is no danger to the public.
