Osoyoos RCMP have released an image of a suspect in a bank robbery earlier this week.

A bank in Osoyoos was robbed Monday afternoon by a suspect who got away with some cash.

Police were called to the CIBC branch at around 2:15 p.m. Dec. 5, according to an RCMP media release.

“A lone man approached the teller and demanded money,” the release says. “There was no mention of a weapon nor was one observed.”

RCMP describe the suspect as a Caucasian male in his mid-30s, 6' tall, with blue eyes. He may have stubble or a short light brown beard. He was wearing a dark grey toque, black hoodie with a square logo with the letter A in white on it, black pants and black gloves.

The suspect, who was wearing a light blue medical mask, took off on foot and was last seen heading east with an undisclosed amount of cash.
