RCMP need your help to find missing Penticton woman

PENTICTON - Penticton RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 61-year-ol Penticton woman reported missing yesterday evening.

Lana Marie Dahl was reported missing from a Penticton assisted living facility yesterday, Oct. 11, at approximately 6:41 a.m. and was last seen around 11 a.m., according to an RCMP media release.

Dahl, who is partially paralyzed, uses an electric wheelchair to get around. She cannot speak due to a stroke but communicates by writing. She is known to frequent the Penticton Plaza and Main Street area.

RCMP describe Dahl as a Caucasian woman, 61 years of age, 5'3" tall, 111 lbs. with hazel eyes and shoulder-length brown hair.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact their local police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
