RCMP need your help to find car dealership fraudster operating in Okanagan, Kootenays

Kelowna RCMP are seeking the public's help to find identify a person of interest involved in fraud attempts at a number of car dealerships in the Okanagan and Kootenay regions.

The individual RCMP are looking for is a person of interest in a two year fraud investigation relating to car dealerships in Kelowna, Lake Country and Castlegar , according to an RCMP media release issued today, Jan. 24.

The individual uses multiple aliases, and local car dealerships are asked to be on the lookout.

An employee of a car dealership in the 2500 block of Enterprise Way in Kelowna recently reported to the police four attempts at fraud in which the individual was using different names but the same identification picture on four different driver licences. RCMP don't identify the car dealership.

The individual is also linked to other failed fraud attempts from 2022 at other dealerships throughout Kelowna and Lake Country. RCMP don't identify the other car dealerships either.
