WEST KELOWNA - The public is doing a great job phoning in tips about the red pickup truck described in the attempted child luring case in West Kelowna, but RCMP really need help getting the licence plate number and name of the driver.
The West Kelowna detachment has been inundated with tips about the red pickup truck, according to a media release which goes on to say the tips have been of little value so far due to a lack of detail.
The driver is described as a Caucasian man, 50-60 years old, with short grey hair. He was seen driving a pickup truck with a red body and a white stripe from front to rear wheel wells.
If you can identify the driver by name, or provide a vehicle plate number, please call the West Kelowna RCMP at 250-768-2880. Remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, leaving a tip online at www.crimestoppers.net or by texting your tip to CRIMES (274637) ktown.
