RCMP looking for witnesses to indecent act in Penticton park

RCMP

If you witnessed someone committing an indecent act near a park on Penticton's Nelson Avenue, Mounties want to speak with you.

RCMP officers were alerted June 24, at 5 p.m., to a report of a lone man engaging in an indecent act near a park in the 1000 block of Nelson Avenue, Const. James Grandy said in a press release.

Officers conducted extensive patrols for the man, but were unable to locate him, so investigators are now asking anyone who can help identify the suspect, or has any information about the incident, to contact the Penticton RCMP at 250-492-4300, or Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-8477.

The suspect is described as Caucasian male, 30 to 40 years of age, with long brown hair wearing a beige shirt and shorts and a fishing hat.
