RCMP investigating potential danger strung across Salmon Arm road

RCMP in Salmon Arm are asking for the public's help with finding information on a hazard that could have resulted in a serious injury.

At around 5:30 a.m. March 23, a jogger found a stretch of green twine had been attached to a signpost and pulled across 24 Street near 5 Avenue in Salmon Arm.

The twine was at "chest height," posing a danger to bicyclists and pedestrians alike, an RCMP news release said.

If you have information on the case you're asked to call RCMP at 250-832-6044 or call Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
