Rainy and cloudy weekend in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS - It may be the last weekend of summer but don't get your hopes up about celebrating in style — this weekend is set to be filled with rain.

Environment Canada is calling for temperatures to be near seasonal normals of 21 Celsius today, Sept. 18, through Sunday before temperatures drop to 16 C on Monday.

Overnight lows will stay above seasonal normals of 7 C all weekend, with temperatures expected to dip as low as 13 C Friday night and just 15 C Saturday night, before cooling off to 8 C on Sunday night.

The weather office is also calling for a chance of rain beginning tonight and then for showers all day Saturday. Sunday the clouds are expected to remain with a 60 per cent chance of showers throughout the day before periods of rain overnight.
