PENTICTON - The who’s who of the skateboard world will be making an appearance in Penticton next week.

Freeride Boardshop’s Brock Warr says this is a chance to see some of the best skateboarders in the world as the Emerica Pro Skateboard Team comes to Penticton on Monday, July 16.

“Penticton hasn’t had an event like this in over a decade,” Warr says.

Local Penticton legend Skylar Ker will be joined by pro skateboarders Andrew Reynolds, Leo Romero, Spanky and Figgy as part of the Wet, Hot Emerican Summer Tour.

The demonstration takes place at the Penticton Youth Park at 185 Riverside Dr. at 3 p.m.

The event is presented by Penticton’s Freeride and Pentagon Boardshops.
