A preliminary hearing is set for the man charged with the second-degree murder of a pregnant 100 Mile House woman 20 years ago.

Trent Larsen, 53, was arrested in September 2019 after 27-year-old Angel Fehr's body was recovered near 100 Mile House that same month, 19 years after her disappearance.

Fehr was last seen April 23, 2000 at an Easter dinner with family in Abbotsford where she left with her two children and Larsen to return to Kamloops. She was reported missing by a concerned family member in June of that year.

The inquiry is set to start Jan. 18 to Jan. 29.
