KAMLOOPS - Kamloops residents can look forward to continuing fall conditions this week, as winter appears to have stalled its advance on the city.
Environment Canada says the only negative temperatures in the forecast for the next few days will occur tonight, Nov.19, with the week ahead expected to be a mix of clouds, showers and a bit of sun, and temperatures remaining above 0 Celsius.
Today will see clearing this morning with a high of 4 C, followed by increasing cloudiness tonight and a low of -4 C.
Tomorrow, expect a mix of sun and cloud with 20 km/h east winds developing in the afternoon, and high of 3 C with an overnight low of 0 C.
Midweek could see a 40 per cent chance of showers Wednesday and a mix of sun and cloud.
Thursday the possibility of showers increases to 70 per cent, under cloudy skies, a high of 7 C and a low of 2 C.
Friday will see cloudy skies and a high of 4 C, with a 40 per cent chance of showers.
This week’s temperatures aren’t too far off the normal highs and lows in Kamloops at this time of year, which are 4 C and -3 C.
