More good times are going to roll now that a second Night at the Roller Rink has been scheduled in Penticton.

“We had so many people that weren't able to make it for this first one, that we have booked another,” said organizer Kim Wall.

The pop-up roller rink will have 10,000 square feet of skate space, funky tunes, lasers and disco lights.

A Night at the Roller Rink happens at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre. The first, sold-out event, takes place Jan. 22.

Registration is still open for the second event on Feb. 26.

The events are family-friendly between 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and then become 19-plus from 7:30 to 9 p.m. It costs $10 per person for the all ages skate and $15 per the 19-plus skate.

The South Okanagan Roller Derby Association is hosting the event and all proceeds will support Penticton's roller derby league.
