PENTICTON - The Ponderosa Music Festival returns to Rock Creek this summer.
The festival, which has its beginnings in 2012 with a gathering of a dozen close friends, has morphed into a full-scale, three-day summer music festival that takes place at the Rock Creek Fairgrounds.
This year’s festival happens Aug. 18 to Aug. 20, with a huge line-up of music acts announced on Saturday, May 6.
Ponderosa Music Festival media maven Laurel Borrowman says the line up isn’t complete, with more acts to be announced over the next few months.
This year’s acts include: Wolf Parade, Austra, Five Alarm Funk, Bear Mountain, Fake Shark, The Wet Secrets, The Courtneys, Gang Signs, Tonye Aganaba, Little Destroyer, Jon Cohen Experimental, Art D’Ecco, Imur, Coco Jafro, Bandida, Croatia, H.O.T., Full Moon Riot, Lauren Webb, Tiger Moon, Ashley Shadow and Heads Hang Heavy.
Camping and three day weekend passes available now on the Ponderosa Music Festival website.
The festival is billed as an all ages event catering towards a mature audience. Those under 19 must be accompanied by an adult.
