Police on hunt for assault suspect in Kamloops

Kamloops RCMP are looking to the public for help to identify an assault suspect.

Police responded to the North Shore bus exchange at around 3:20 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 8, where a man was assaulted by a bus passenger, according to a Kamloops RCMP news release.

“A photo and description of the suspect were provided to police,” Const. Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson, said in the release. “We are releasing the photo captured to help further the investigation by allowing officers to identify and speak to the person pictured.”

The suspect is described as a man in his 50s with brown eyes and a moustache. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a grey and white jacket, a toque and brown boots.

Kamloops RCMP are asking the suspect to come forward.
