KAMLOOPS - At least a dozen incidents of tire slashing have been reported in Brocklehurst this morning.

RCMP say they’ve received reports from residents who woke up today, May 19, to find their cars vandalized.

Vehicles in the area of Windbreak Street, Ponderosa Avenue and Laroque Street had tires slashed in what appears to be a non-targeted series of incidents, according to an RCMP media release.

"It’s an act of mischief by someone with senseless disregard for personal property,” Cpl. Cheryl Bush says in the release.

Anyone with information about the incidents are asked to call Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
