Police are looking to identify suspects who may have been involved in a downtown Kelowna assault, Aug. 18.

The Kelowna RCMP are trying to identify suspects after a woman was assaulted in downtown Kelowna last month.
Police officers found a woman near Mills Street and Bernard Avenue, Aug. 18 at roughly 9:30 p.m. She was bleeding heavily from an arm injury and was transported to Kelowna General Hospital but could not provide officers with details on how she was injured, according to a RCMP news release.
She was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Surveillance footage showed an earlier altercation had occurred between the injured woman and two other women possibly known to the victim. A man was also present with the two women during the incident.
“Kelowna RCMP would like the public’s assistance in identifying the persons involved to understand what took place the night of August 18,” said Const. Mike. Della-Paolera, media relations officer with the Kelowna RCMP, in the news release.
