A man in his 60s was assaulted at a Kamloops bus stop last month and police are looking for a suspect.

Officers were called to the bus stop at Tranquille Road and Poplar Street around 8:20 p.m., Feb. 10, where the man was assaulted with "blunt force objects," according to an RCMP news release.

Both suspects were described as men in their 20s, and only one was identified. Police didn't release his name because he hasn't been charged yet.

"Police are releasing an image of the unidentified man in hopes someone will recognize him and contact the detachment, or that he'll do the right thing and come forth to help further the investigation," Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Const. Crystal Evelyn said in the release.

He's described as a Caucasian male with a dark, thick moustache. He was wearing a white camo hoodie, a black White Sox ball cap and a white fanny-pack with green zipper flies across his body, RCMP said.

Police did not describe how severe the victim's injuries were. The news release did not include any details to describe what might have led to the assault, whether it was random or if the victim was robbed.
