Police are looking to identify a suspect in a bank robbery in Kamloops yesterday.

Kamloops RCMP responded to a robbery at TD Bank on Notre Dame Drive Oct. 7 at 4 p.m., according to a release.

A man entered the bank, approached the teller and demanded money. The teller complied, giving the man an undisclosed amount, and he quickly departed.

“No person was injured in this event and no weapon was seen,” Sgt. Darren Michels said in a release. “A search of the area did not locate the suspect and our criminal investigation continues.”

The suspect was described as a Caucasian man, 40 to 55 years of age, seen wearing a beige ball cap, white surgical mask and a grey sweatshirt with CANADA written on it in white lettering.

Anyone with information on this robbery is urged to call Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 or Crime Stoppers.
