Police looking for suspect connected to stolen vehicle

Waylon Faulhafer is wanted on two outstanding warrants for possession of stolen property

UPDATE 9:45 P.M., APRIL 9: Waylon Faulhafer has been taken into custody.

KAMLOOPS - Police are asking for the public’s help to locate a man known to possess guns and is suspected of having connections to a stolen vehicle discovered Wednesday night.

Cpl. Cheryl Bush, a spokesperson for the Kamloops RCMP, says Mounties attended the Tournament Capital Inn around 9:20 p.m., April 8, to investigated a stolen vehicle. A search warrant was executed on a motel room and officers recovered two long guns and arrested a 20-year-old woman in relation to a separate investigation.

Police members are now searching for Waylon Faulhafer, 21, who is wanted on two warrants for possession of stolen property. Faulhafer is Caucasian, 5’7” and weighs approximately 130 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes.
