A body was found in a burned down shed behind the shuttered Dynasty Restaurant on the North Shore yesterday and it is still not clear who the victim is and the cause of death.
As of this morning, RCMP were on the taped off site at the 100-block of Palm Street and officials could be seen moving burned debris.

“I saw police cars and fire trucks when I came to work yesterday but I wasn’t sure what was going on,” said the owner of Tobilicious Kitchen across the street, Oluwatobi Akinwumi.
She said the neighbourhood is heavily populated with people living on the streets and there has been associated crime.
“It is really bad in this area, lots of people are living on the streets here,” she said. “They are always trying to steal from my store and even broke the glass in my front door earlier this month.
“I have called the police several times but nothing is done about it.”
So far Akinwumi has not witnessed any fires being lit in the streets around her.
The Kamloops RCMP and B.C. Coroners Service is investigating after firefighters found the body when they extinguished the fire, around 7:30 a.m., Oct. 29.
"We are working with the B.C. Coroners Service to identify the individual and the Kamloops RCMP Fire Investigator will be working with the RCMP Forensic Identification Service in an effort to establish the source and cause of the fire, which has yet to be determined," said Sgt. Janelle Shoihet, with the Kamloops RCMP, in a previous press release.
RCMP did not respond to iNFOnews request for comment in time for publication.
The RCMP is asking anyone who was in the area between 6 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. yesterday or may have video surveillance which faces the rear or front of businesses in the 100-block of Palm Street to call 250-828-3000.
