KAMLOOPS - Police are looking for witnesses after multiple reports of shots fired on the North Shore last night.

Shortly before 8 p.m. Kamloops RCMP got numerous reports from the Carson Crescent area. Investigating officers found spent shells in the alley between Carson Crescent and Marcel Street but police spokesperson Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says no suspects were found in the area.

"Some witnesses saw a male on a bike at the time of the shooting and others saw a dark-coloured pick-up truck in the area," she says. "It is unknown at this time if either are associated to the shooting."

The shotgun casings have been seized for forensics.

If you have any information about these shots fired please contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
