KAMLOOPS - Local police are working with the school district in a ‘complex investigation’ involving multiple youth.
Kamloops RCMP Cpl. Cheryl Bush said in a press release that police were notified by staff from School District 73 after learning about ‘the alleged exchange of inappropriate material.’
Details in the release were limited, the release citing legal restrictions of dealing with minors.
Bush did, however, reiterate student safety as a priority and reminded parents to continue conversations about children’s online and social media activities. Police are expected to be available for media tomorrow.
