Police hope to identify driver in Lake Country hit-and-run

Lake Country RCMP want to know who is responsible for a hit-and-run that left an elderly pedestrian seriously injured over five weeks ago.

Police are investigating the hit and run that happened at around 6:40 a.m. Jan. 30 in the 12000 block of Carr’s Landing Road, according to an RCMP media release issued today, March 6.

A Lake Country senior was hit and left with serious injuries.

RCMP are asking the driver who struck the pedestrian to come forward.

Anyone who may have information about the incident is also asked to contact Lake Country RCMP at 250-766-2288 and reference file number 2024-5125. Or anonymously send a tip through Crime Stoppers Kelowna at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or on the website here.
