KELOWNA - A suspicious death Sunday night has been deemed a homicide but RCMP are not yet saying what caused the death.
Warren Welters, 51, was found deceased around 8:30 p.m., June 14, at 941 Bernard Avenue.
Cpl. Joe Duncan says police remain on scene and ‘are investigating any and all leads.’
He also notes the cause of death will not be released at this time but on Monday he said the condition the body was found in made the death suspicious. He also confirmed several people were in the house at the time the body was found.
Anyone with information about the incident or who had been in contact with Welters on June 14 is asked to call the Kelowna RCMP Tip Line at 250-470-6236.
