Police arrest three men in Peachland after shots fired

Police have arrested three men in Peachland after getting a report of an assault with a weapon and shots fired.

On April 30, West Kelowna RCMP were called to the 7200-block of Highway 97. They contained the area and brought all the occupants out of the home when they determined that shots were fired in the incident. They found three suspects and their pickup truck behind a business in Peachland. They men were arrested and detained before being released without charges while the investigation continues.

They used a police dog, helicopter and the General Investigations Section to find the men, said RCMP spokesperson Const. Solana Paré.

“The male victim was treated at the scene by Emergency Health Services for minor injuries,” she said. “Luckily, no one at the residence was injured due to the discharge of the firearm.”
