KELOWNA - If you are looking to find events to get you out and about over the holidays, there are plenty across B.C to choose from.

The ministry of tourism tossed out several ideas for Interior residents to explore such as the Wildlights Festival at B.C. Wildlife Park, the Festival of Trees Celebration, and many activities at Sun Peaks Resort and Big White.

Destination B.C. calls these activities "unforgettable."

Year-to-date figures show a 3.1 per cent increase in international visitor arrivals from January to September over the same time period last year.

In one day you could ski, ice climb and dog sled at Big White Mountain.

Big White is also hosting a Christmas Eve parade, click here for the details.
