Kamloops residents should be able to enjoy another two days of summery conditions before a change brings a taste of fall over the weekend.

Although there is lots of sun in the forecast, temperatures are expected to drop considerably by Saturday, with some cool days heading into next week.

Environment Canada says to expect sunny conditions today, Aug. 27, with a high of 27 Celsius and a low of 12 C overnight.

Tomorrow is even better, with sunny skies, a high of 30 C and a low of 12 C expected.

While mainly sunny, things are going to cool off over the weekend, however, with a high of 22 C on Saturday and 24 C on Sunday. Overnight lows are expected to be 10 C on Saturday and 9 C on Sunday.

Next week, expect a mix of sun and cloud Monday through Wednesday, with highs in the mid-20s.

Normal temperatures for this time of year in Kamloops are highs of 26 C and lows of 12 C.
