A person was blasted with bear spray by an alleged thief at a Sahali store last weekend.
Police responded to the location on the 1200-block of Summit Drive where a woman released a can of bear spray near the entrance of the store, just after 3 p.m. on Nov. 26.
The spray indirectly hit an unknown person with its back draft, according to a media release by Kamloops RCMP.
Store staff had removed the woman from the store for allegedly stealing before the incident.
The woman was gone when police arrived.
RCMP describe the woman as five-foot-two with a slim build and light pink hair. She was dressed in a dark jacket and a dark hoodie, overtop a white shirt.
