A Penticton woman says she'll be treating herself to some new workout equipment after snagging $50,000 on a scratch and win lottery ticket.

Chantel Manjarrez of Penticton landed the win after being gifted the ticket, according to a British Columbia Lottery Corporation media release issued today, Feb. 14.

"It’s so nice," she said in the release. "This ticket was a gift and I’m very grateful."

The Super Crossword Scratch and Win ticket was purchased at the Skaha Lake Husky, and Manjarrez said she will treat herself to some new workout equipment with her winnings.
